On 11 June 2009, the State of Finland transferred all of its 16,006,000 Elisa Corporation shares, which correspond to 9.62% of Elisa’s share capital, to Solidium Oy as a contribution in kind. The transfer value of the Elisa shares equalled the closing price in public trading on 11 June 2009 on NASDAQ OMX Helsinki: €10.84 per share. As a result of the transfer, Solidium’s shareholders’ equity was increased by a sum equal to the total market value of the shares: €173,505,040.

Following the transfer, Solidium increased its holding in Elisa Corporation to 10.0% on 16 June 2009 by acquiring 625,000 shares in public trading.
