Solidium Oy has increased its holding in Talvivaara Mining Company to 5.05 per cent of the share capital through open market purchases. Solidium owns in aggregate 12 418 718 shares in Talvivaara.

Talvivaara is an internationally significant base metals producer with its primary focus on nickel and zinc using a technology known as bioheapleaching to extract metals out of ore.
