Solidium made a €15 million investment in ICEYE, a Finnish SAR satellite imaging company. The investment was a follow-on for the convertible debt announced in April 2024 and included other existing ICEYE investors in addition to Solidium.

ICEYE is a high-growth technology company designing, manufacturing, and selling SAR-satellites and providing imaging data, analytics and solutions based on their own satellite constellation. In addition, the company is developing novel technologies and solutions revolving around providing their customers with a wide capability for near real-time imaging and analysis.

“The follow-on investment to ICEYE is very much aligned with our initial investment in ICEYE made earlier this year. We continue to see that ICEYE has strong potential to grow to be a nationally significant company. Supporting the growth of ICEYE also supports fostering the creation of a new high-tech cluster in Finland, and hence support Finnish growth” says Reima Rytsölä, the CEO of Solidium.
